How brush and bulk collection works in Universal City
Universal City's brush and bulk service is run by Frontier Waste Solutions and is weekly — residents find their day with the city's My Collection Day map.

- Placement: front curb only — no alley pickup — and at least three feet from carts, cars, mailboxes and other obstructions.
- Accepted: cut brush, limbs and branches, bulk items and yard debris, bagged grass clippings and leaves, and appliances with Freon removed and certified.
- Refused: household hazardous waste, tires, commercial debris, Freon appliances without certification, and contractor or landscaper debris.
- Freon: the certification must be attached before the appliance is placed at the curb.

When a hauler makes more sense in Universal City
