How brush and bulk pickup works in Windcrest
Windcrest runs brush and bulk pickup in a fall sweep in three sections, each serviced once, through Republic Services. In fall 2026 that meant Section 1 (west of Midcrown) September 21–25, Section 2 (east of Midcrown, south of Crestway, west of Eaglecrest) September 28–October 2, and Section 3 (north of Crestway, east of Eaglecrest) October 5–9. The service is for Windcrest residents only, and there's no scheduling — it's automatic.
- Limit: a brush pile of five cubic yards, within eight feet of the curb.
- Cutoff: items must be at the curb by the Sunday before your section's week; the provider will not return for missed pickups.
- Accepted: shrubs, tree branches, furniture, appliances (refrigerant removal rules apply), mattresses, fencing and carpeting.
- Refused: construction debris, hazardous materials, compressed gas tanks, tires, electronics and appliances with refrigerant still present.
