The things a garage always has that can't go in a normal load
Garages collect paint, solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals and used oil — items hauled loads can't include. San Antonio's household hazardous waste site takes them: 7030 Culebra Road, 78238, Tuesday–Friday 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m.–noon (closed holidays). It serves residents who pay the City's Environmental Fee — bring a recent CPS Energy bill and a photo ID. Accepted items include paint, auto fluids, batteries, household cleaners and solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals, oil filters and e-waste; quantity limits apply (paint and other liquids up to five 5-gallon or 25 one-gallon cans, 220 pounds total).
